A
Framework for Understanding Poverty
4th April, 2006
"Dear Nairn,
I just wanted to take a moment to thank for your the wonderfully relevant and interesting information you have shared today. I can honestly say that after 13 years in education, today's session haas been the single-most beneficial one that I have attened. It shows and explains that without a clear understanding of where our kids are 'coming from', it doesn't matter what curriculum we plan or how we present it - if we don't understand our kids, nothing will work.
Thank you for sharing your ideas and knowledge with us and I hope to be able to integrate new ideas into my classroom and school practices."
